Sam and Evie Benton are the Senior Pastors of King's Park Church.  They were formerly Campus Ministers at the University of South Carolina where they met and were married.  They also lived in Chapel Hill, NC where they served as lay ministers and pastors at King's Park International Church, Durham, NC.

     After fifteen years in Chapel Hill they became pastors at Morning Star Christian church in Houston, Tx.  While in Houston God began to direct them back toward the Carolinas.  As Sam began to scout out the land, Charlotte, NC really stood out and he felt God was leading him to plant a new church here.

     In the summer of 2005 Sam and Evie moved to Charlotte and God began to grow a new church through them and others who have joined them in the process.  Sam and Evie's heart is to see people reached with the gospel and to help people walk out their God-given destiny.
